Saturday Night

Prior to coming to Edinburgh the group had connected and shared our arrival times. I had looked at some places to go on a Saturday night that sold good cocktails and played good music. I met up with Calvin who is also on the course, and we went into a few bars before finally reaching Brambles.

Brambles has the air of a speak-easy, the entrance is not visible from street level, its only when you reach the bottom of these stairs a small brass wall plaque signals the entrance. This hidden bar is worth finding....The cocktails were fab, the barmen witty, and the hip hop music being played by the DJ brought back my teenage nostalgia!
